 At Baldor, we believe in making your life easier. Mint® is the programming language for our range of motion controllers and programmable servo drives. Desgined around Basic, Mint will be familiar to many. Mint offers ease of use with its English like keywords and high level functionality.
The latest version of Mint® offers multitasking capabilities for motion, I/O and HMI tasks. High level functionality in the form of tasks, functions and procedures allow machine control tasks to be easily broken down into smaller more manageable parts. Modularity not only makes it easier to develop applications, but also makes it easier to debug an application and re-use code for future projects.
Mint is supported on Baldor's NextMove range of motion controllers and on the programmable drives Flex+Drive-II and MintDrive-II.

The Mint WorkBench is a comprehensive Windows front end for the Mint programming environment. All of our motion controllers and servo drives are supplied with free software tools. This includes:
- Mint Programming Language (where applicable).
- Mint WorkBench v5 for system commissioning, programming and diagnostics
- ActiveX libraries for the development of Windows front end applications
- Embedded 'C' libraries for the NextMove controllers.
